Val is a big, stout 4-year-old gelding with a strong performance pedigree and a bright future. He is by ARC Time to Strike, a producing stallion by the great One Time Pepto, and out ofSheza Dulces Peppy.

His pedigree is loaded with proven cutting horse genetics. On the top side, he carries the bloodlines of Peptoboonsmal and High Brow Cat, while the bottom side features Peppy San Badger and Freckles Hickory—a powerful combination for performance potential.

Val has had a solid foundation in cutting horse training. He was started and trained for 18 months by respected cutting horse trainer Sonny M. Martin. He is currently being ridden and maintained by Charlie Richardson of Kentwood, LA.

This gelding is athletic, quick on his feet, and has a big motor. For his size, he is incredibly agile, with a smooth stride, natural balance, and a great handle. He catches both leads easily, moves through all gaits smoothly, and has the presence and potential to excel in the cutting pen or in other performance disciplines.
