LA BREEZIN THRU BOCA (ANGOLA)
One of the best babies we raised this year here at Angola Prison. She is sired by a top performance horse and out of one of our proven ranch mares. This filly is sure to make an excellent cow horse on the ranch or performance horse in the show arena. Be sure to look at her on sale day.


LA RIPTIDE IN BOOTS (ANGOLA)
Brains, performance horses and ranch horses all wrapped up in one. With her breeding and conformation, she should make a top-notch horse in any event you choose wether it be cow events or timed events. Cruzin Riptide, Cruze Mode, Cat Olena Smart and High Brow Cat all on her papers. Don't pass her up on sale day.


LA ZERO RIPTIDES (ANGOLA)
Breeding Sound Only! He is sired by the famous buckskin stallion Cruzin Riptide and out of a line of proven ranch mares. We had big plans for this guy, but he was injured as a young horse. We have sold several of his babies for lots of money right here at this sale. His babies are the ones people ask for every year. His babies will make great ranch horses or very athletic cow/performance horses. Stands 15 hands tall.


LA ROCK TIDE (ANGOLA)
CALF HORSE HEEL HORSE* BREAKAWAY HORSE This young gelding is a great performance prospect. He was broke and started slow and correct by one of the top ranch hands/trainer inmates at Angola Prison. If you have bought one that he has ridden in the past, you know what I am talking about. He feels this young gelding is something special and is going to be spectacular when finished. FOUR KBAR TIVIO (ANGOLA)
This is one we are going to surely miss. "Tig" as we call him has been ridden by one of our older inmates for many years. Tig has been ridden almost every day of his life on the ranch. He will do anything you ask him for or give it his all trying. He can pull anything your rope off him no matter what the size. Rope, doctor, pen, sort, and ride fences have been his job on 5000 acres and over 2000 head of cattle. He knows when to go and knows when to whoa! His bloodlin


DRY WHISKEY TIVIO (ANGOLA)
We call him T14. A big stout bay gelding that was born and raised here at Angola Prison. One hand neck rein, moves off your leg and has had many bulls and cattle roped off him in the pasture. You can use him to sort and doctor in the pens. He has been turned out for several years due to the inmates having to ride young horses. We recently got him back to the barn and started using him daily. He is our old foundation breeding. You can tell by his big bone, big feet and big


PARR DOCOLENA TIVIO (ANGOLA)
This is a big dun gelding that was raised at Angola Prison. He has been turned out for several years because the inmates needed to ride younger horses. He was previously used to do all phases of ranch work where he would pull like a train and run a hole in the wind. He has been back at the barn now for about a month getting back to the ranch program. He is cinchy and not recommended for just anyone to handle. He has never had any sort of maintenance such as injections or ch


SALLY (ANGOLA)
Sally was born and raised at Angola Prison. She sells grade. She has been used on the ranch, ridden at the rodeo in the Rough Riders carrying the flags. She is around 17 years old and has always had a good mind and attitude. We have not ridden her in several years and when we decided to sell her, we tacked her up and stepped on, she never missed a beat. We feel she would be great for someone to pleasure ride, trail ride and enjoy Sally. Stands 14.3


DOCOLENA BAY QUINCY (ANGOLA)
"Frankie" has been ridden at the prison his entire life by one of the main bosses, who retired—this is the only reason he is for sale. He has a handle like a reiner and can spin a hole in the ground when tuned up. Frankie has been used to doctor, sort, rope, and pen cattle on the ranch. He will perform any task asked of him. He is very cowy and will get down and cut a cow when needed. Cowboys will love him, but you don't have to be super cowboy to ride him. His breeding trace


LA ROYAL RIPTIDE (ANGOLA)
We call her Lil Momma. Here at the prison, we have 5000 acres of pasture to ride and almost 2000 head of cattle that these horses are used to tend to. Lil Momma get ridden everyday by one of our top ranch hands. He uses her to sort, doctor, pen and rope cattle. She has a good handle, moves off your leg a nice stop and turn around. She is sired by the great buckskin stallion Cruzin Riptide and out of one of our ranch mares on the bottom side. This cross has produced proven


J W GOODWINS SPORT (ANGOLA)
Used in the feedlot at Wade Correctional Facility in North Louisiana for many years. He has recently come back to Angola Prison where we have used him to check fences, push, sort and doctor cattle. Neck reins easily and has an easy-going disposition. Stands 15 hands.
