WAYLON

Waylon is a 6-year-old bay crossbred gelding standing 16.2 hands and weighing around 1,600 lbs. We’ve owned him since he was a yearling, so he’s had the same foundation and handling his whole life and has always been a true gentle giant.

He’s been used in the pasture to pen and catch cows, hauled to bull ridings, and used for hog hunting. He’s seen the lights, noise, dogs, and chaos and takes it all in stride. We’ve even dressed him up in Halloween costumes with kids hanging all over him and nothing bothers him.

Waylon will cross anything you point him at whether it be water, logs, or ditches and he’s strong enough to pull whatever needs pulling. He’s big, quiet, and dependable whether he’s ridden every day or been sitting.
