He is looking for his new cowboy!

2014 AQHA sorrel gelding standing 15 hands tall. “Streak” is a big ranch boy who is ready to go in any direction you want to take him. He likes and needs to work and has the sweetest, willing personality.

He is a been-there, done-that horse. From trail riding, moving cattle, checking fences, roping obstacles, and turning back for cutters, we have done it all with Streak. With his great running bloodlines, he could certainly excel in barrels, poles, or other speed events!

He has been roped off of but is not a finished roper. However, he seems to be a good candidate for breakaway or heeling.

Through no fault of his own, he was turned out to pasture for about two years and was not ridden very often. For the last 90 days, he has been with trainer Derrick Norwood, so this horse is broke! He works off loose reins and leg pressure, stops, spins, and rolls back as one should.

That being said, Streak is a horse that needs to be worked and have a job. If he is not used regularly, he can be a bit sour and cinchy when getting started again. He is not a horse for a beginner, child, or grandma.

Streak is an amazing horse with all the buttons you need for ranch work or other disciplines. He is certainly a horse that can work hard all day, every day.

He is up to date on all vaccinations, has a negative Coggins, and requires no maintenance. He runs in the pasture with other horses and is at the bottom of the herd.

Stands for saddling, bathing, worming, and the farrier (barefoot, size 1 hoof). Loads and unloads from the trailer easily.
