Pep is in him prime age. 7-year-old gelding that has many miles left in him. He has been used extensively on a working cattle ranch in Southwest Mississippi. We use him to sort pairs, move pairs on and off winter grass. He has also been used in the working pens, sorting and pushing cattle up the alleys. He rides the same inside and out. No spook or foolishness with this gelding. My 8-year-old has ridden him about half the time he has been on our ranch. Pep is a laid back type of horse while riding around checking cattle and fences. He rides out alone with no problem. When ridden in a group he likes to be close to the other horses. It is not a problem with an intermediate rider but could be with a small child or beginner. He has no problem riding into a herd of cattle to sort and move them. Time off does not affect him. Moves off your legs and has a nice neck rein. If you are looking for a quiet gentle gelding, you should take a look at Pep.
