Major was born, raised, and trained at McCall Quarter Horses. He has been hauled to many horse shows and used as a practice horse. He has never been pushed, or asked to plus any maneuver. He is quite, and gentle enough for anyone to get along with. He would make a great addition to anyone’s show string and we believe he would excel in the ranch riding events. He is correct, and easy to ride. He has never been lame, nor has he ever been injected. He is only for sale due to us having 23 horses in the barn and not having the time to devote to him. He is what everyone wants, sound, sane, solid, and and being offered for sale for the first time in his life. His sire, Shriner, is an own son of Shining Spark and he is out of the great mare Major Sparks Flying, who was Kevin McCall’s show horse for many years and an NRHA money earner, including a top 5 finish at the 2012 AQHA World Show.
