"Buckwheat" is a big stout eye-catching bay. A 2012 model who is approximately 14.3 and 1150+ lbs. He's a one-owner horse who's been trail ridden extensively. This horse spent his formative years in Idaho where he's crossed creeks, logs, snow, and even packed out an elk. You point him, and he will go there. Inside the arena he's had training as a calf horse, most recently a couple months this past winter, and has been team roped on a few times. He also shows interest in the barrels. Buckwheat has a big motor and is watchy on the ground. He will get cinchy if you don't ride him for a while. This horse would be suited for someone who is looking for a horse they can take out on the trail, but also could go ranch or rope on. He is a big-time athlete and would thrive in a program with daily use.
