Big, black and beautiful. He checks all the boxes! Goliath is ¾ Friesian and ¼ Percheron. He was born in 2015 and stands 16.2 hands tall. He is very fancy!! He does not need to be ridden consistently to stay broke. Goliath absolutely loves attention and is always eager to go for a ride. He is well broke in the arena and outside. We have ridden him countless miles down the trails, gathering cattle and even rode him into town. Everyone always notices this big guy everywhere we go. He crosses water, bridges, rides by the highway and does all obstacle trail courses with ease. Goliath is sure footed in all terrain. He goes through creeks, muddy bogs, through thick brush and up and down steep hill with no hesitation. Goliath rides with total confidence and will go anywhere you point him. He lopes collected circles with good lead departures and will ride English as well as Western. He was originally started under English saddle in basic dressage and then transitioned to Wester Riding. You can open and close gate with ease. He moves off leg pressure, neck reins and rides off your seat. Goliath loves to push the big bouncy ball around the arena and doesn’t have any problems with tarps, slickers or ropes all over him. He is respectful on the ground. Goliath always saddles up gentle no matter how long its been since he was last out. Goliath has been ridden by all levels and ages of riders. He is easy to catch, bathe and clip. He loads in and out of the trailer with no issues. Goliath is good to shoe( he wears a size 4) and stands tied. Come meet Goliath, he is a barn favorite and we are extremely of this gelding. We love him and we know you will too.
