Bill is a 14.3 John mule that is 8 years old. We have owned him since he was 2 years old. He is the true definition of a “in your pocket type mule”. He has a huge personality. He will trail ride quiet and honest. He will cross over any obstacle you encounter. He will walk out alone from the group easy with great confidence. He will ride in the back with total patience. He has been trail ridden extensively. We loaned him to an Amish friend locally that used him at his sawmill dragging logs. His kid brother rode him to school many times. While he was there, the family used him to pull their buggy as transportation. He stands perfectly for tacking , harnessing, shoeing , bathing and grooming. He will meet you in the pasture as soon as he sees you. You do not need feed to catch him. He trots nicely under saddle as well in the shalves. He will short lope out of his tracks. I could write a book about Bill. He is a solid mule that is suitable for first time mule owners.
